Cavvanba Consulting is an Australian, employee-owned company committed to quality, performance and problem-solving, complimented by a solid understanding of contaminated land issues and planning requirements encountered across a wide range of land management practices across Australia and New Zealand.
Cavvanba was founded in May 2009 in Byron Bay. Now, with offices in Byron Bay and Newcastle, Cavvanba's strategic positioning across the state enables an efficient and effective response to all projects within NSW, QLD and across the country.
With a broad portfolio of both small and large scale projects across the country; in metropolitan Sydney and Brisbane and regional areas from Cairns to Tasmania and out to Broken Hill, Cavvanba's team has extensive experience conducting environmental assessment and remediation in the contaminated land field.
The small yet highly experienced team ensures there is a personal quality and consistency in the service Cavvanba provides, and a network of quality sub-contractors ensures large projects are delivered on time.
Some typical land use scenarios have included; retail service stations, bulk fuel depots/storage facilities, former gasworks sites, former locomotive depots, general railway land, waste treatment facilities, landfills, sewage treatment plants, highway upgrades, defence facilities, airports, hospitals, research facilities, manufacturing and industrial sites, utilities depots, banana plantations, cattle dip sites, broad-acre agricultural sites and emergency response spill sites.
The NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) outlines certain attributes that are recommended when choosing a contaminated land consultant. This includes membership of an appropriate organisation such as the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA). Cavvanba is a full member of ACLCA in NSW and Qld.
Cavvanba operates a management system which integrates work, health, safety, security, environment and quality management (WHSSEQ) to control all aspects of our consultancy services. This is the best way for the company to ensure delivery of technical excellence to all our clients, and a safe work environment for our employees and subcontractors.
